About

MzTEK was established in 2008 by Sophie McDonald and Sally Northmore, with the aim of addressing the imbalance of women artists working in the fields of new media, computer arts, and technology. In 2011 we were joined by Emily Giles as a co event and workshop organiser.

Until we went our separate ways in 2013 we were based in London and supported by Hackney arts institution [ space ], and Centre for Creative Collaboration in Kings Cross, where we are located, we host a range of workshops, talks, and self-initiated tinker sessions.
